LaunchControl
HUB Quick Start

Let's get your RV connected.

The basic setup is simple: connect the HUB to power and RV-C, connect to the HUB over Wi-Fi, verify RV-C data, and load a floor plan for your coach.

Before you begin: LaunchControl operates locally in your RV. An internet connection is not required for normal monitoring and control.

Connect the HUB

Connect the LaunchControl HUB to your RV's RV-C network using the correct LaunchControl cable, adapter, or harness for your coach.

Then connect power using either:

  • 12–24 V DC power , or
  • USB-C power .
Important: Do not connect both power inputs at the same time.
RV-C connection points and connector styles vary by manufacturer. Visit launchcontrol.tech for coach-specific connection information and supported adapters.

Connect to the HUB Wi-Fi

On your phone or tablet, open Wi-Fi settings and join:

LaunchControl-Hub-XXXX

The last four characters identify your HUB. A new HUB does not have a Wi-Fi password.

The setup page should open automatically.

If it does not, open a browser and go to:

192.168.4.1

Connect the HUB to your RV Wi-Fi

If your RV has a Wi-Fi router, connect the HUB to it so phones, tablets, and computers on your normal RV network can open LaunchControl without changing Wi-Fi networks.

Follow the on-screen setup instructions, or open:

Settings → Network

Select your RV Wi-Fi network, enter its password, and connect.

No RV router? That's fine. You can continue using the HUB's LaunchControl-Hub-XXXX Wi-Fi network directly.

Once connected through your RV or home network, bookmark:

launchcontrol.local

Choose your security settings

During initial setup, LaunchControl can protect access with:

  • Dashboard PIN — protects access to the Web Dashboard.
  • HUB Wi-Fi password — protects the HUB's private Wi-Fi network.

You can configure these during setup or later under:

Settings → Network

Verify RV-C data

Before loading your coach configuration, make sure the HUB is receiving data from the RV-C network.

Open:

Settings → Status

Find the RV-C status. It should show that the bus is connected and receiving data.

If no RV-C data is being received, stop here and check the HUB's RV-C connection before continuing.

Load your floor plan

A LaunchControl floor plan is a pre-built configuration for a specific RV make and model. It can automatically configure the devices, dashboard panels, cards, and bindings for your coach.

Open:

Settings → Floor Plans
  1. Select your RV manufacturer.
  2. Select your model or available floor plan.
  3. Review the floor plan information.
  4. Select Load.

The HUB will restart with the new configuration.

When it returns, review the dashboard and verify that the displayed equipment matches your coach.

You're ready to use LaunchControl.

If your floor plan loaded successfully and the dashboard shows live RV-C information, basic setup is complete. You can now begin customizing LaunchControl or adding optional integrations and displays.
